After an exhaustive selection process, Shepparton Theatre Arts Group Inc. (STAG Inc.) are pleased to announce the final ten plays that will be staged as part of the SheppARTon Festival in March 2009.
Upon receiving 31 entries to the competition, company President Jo Chambers said the interest in Ten In 10 from across the country was very pleasing to see.
Congratulations to the playwrights whose plays became the final ten and thank you to all that entered.

STAG 2008 Georgy Award Winners
Congratulations to the following STAG Inc. members who took home coveted Georgy Awards from the ceremony held on November 15 at Eastbank.
Among the winners list were Emily Zierk who took home two Georgys for her portrayal of Nancy in Oliver!, Hannah Magee also from Oliver!, for her portrayal of Bet, and of course Liz Zito and Joyce Baker-Dawber in Minefields and Miniskirts for their performances as Sandy and Margaret, respectively.
Joyce was also the recipient of this year's Ted Malloy Award for Outstanding Contribution to Amateur Theatre, a very worthy recipient in anyone's eyes.
Congratulations to the STAG Inc. members who were winners in their school productions; Elissa Banfield, Leigh Kuehnapfel and Ryan Giustino.
