STAG On The Hunt
With the pieces of our 2009 season slowly coming together, one of the finishing touches will be placing a musical into the mix. to be staged in May, our 2009 musical is still in need of a Director.

The committee of STAG Inc. are searching for a talented individual to take on the role of Director for the aforementioned musical. And, yes, we do have a preference of show.

Anyone wishing to try their hand at bringing to life the Rodgers and Hammerstein standard, Oklahoma! should get in touch with a committee member to discuss possibilities. While this is our prefered choice, we will gladly welcome discussion about other possibilities, should you have a real craving to direct something else.

Committee believe that Oklahoma! will provide scope for members of all ages to be involved, and considering the production was last staged by Shepparton Light Music Company (STAG Inc. before we were STAG Inc.) in 1968, it's been a long time between drinks...or is that bright golden hazes on the meadow?

Please note that directing for STAG Inc. is an unpaid, voluntary position.

So, if you think that Oklahoma! is something you would like to try your hand at, get in touch now!

Bee Season
It's that time of the year again! Spring has sprung and what better time to clean the Bakehouse?

There are going to be a lot of things happening at the Bakehouse soon, besides the loads of rehearsals. With the delivery of 136 new chairs, as well as two giant shipping containers for storage imminent, all needs to be in readiness for the new arrivals.

That's why we are having a fun ol' Working Bee.

Sunday November 9 at 11am will be where's it's at, so bring your shovels, picks, crow-bars, (sounds like the start of a vigilante mob, eh?) and we will go to work on the beloved Bakehouse. Your support in this endeavour will be much appreciated.

See you there!

This Cast Certainly Not Tarnished
The bugle horn has heralded the arrival of the Brassed Off to the STAG family.

In the words of the directors, "we never guessed we would have so many talented and experienced people offer themselves and want to be involved ... very humbling and exciting". So, a big thank you to all those that took the time to audition.
