| Shepparton Theatre Arts Group are on the hunt for some of the best talent, young and mature to help us make Lionel Bart's Oliver! come to life at WestSide Performing Arts Centre in June this year.
If you think you're a angelic Oliver, streetwise Nancy or even a villainous Fagin, then we'd like to see you audition for the show. Our production of Oliver! will require men, women, boys and girls of all ages, shapes and sizes.
Oliver! is to be directed by Guild Award winning director, Rob Robson, assisted by Liz Zito and Aaron-David Palmer. Making his debut as a musical director with STAG, the orchestra will be in the ever capable hands of Steve Sargant.
STAG's production of Oliver!, while remaining true to the musical adaptation that has entertained audiences since it opened in London in 1960, will present theatre-goers with an authentic Dickensian representation of the piece, as per the orginal book which told a bleak tale of London in the 19th century. This fresh interpretation of the musical will be sure to please.
An Information Night will be held on February 11, at 7.30pm at STAG rehearsal venue, The Bakehouse. Please note that there will be no online audition sign-up for this production, so attendance at the Information Night is vital.
We are also seeking crew members to become part of either the backstage crew or involved in other aspects of the show. Please click here to sign up for CREW.
For more information, please call Production Manager, Jo Chambers after 6pm on 0402 452 064.
