| Before you see STAG's production of Fame: The Musical in May, take a drive down to the coastal city of Geelong to see some amazing talent rock the Ford Theatre at Geelong Performing Arts Centre as they present their production of Fame.
Featuring many of Geelong's greatest young talents, including Christian Cavallo as Nick Piazza, Heidi Mullen as Serena Katz and Lisa Hanley as Carmen Diaz, Geelong Musical Comedy Company's Fame is a great way to spend a night at the theatre. Geelong Musical Comedy Company's Fame is directed by Sadat-Jon Hussain, with choreography by Jana Clack, vocal direction from Lynda Morrow and musical direction from Anne Bourke. Geelong's Fame season will run from January 12 - 20, 2007. Get on down to the Ford Theatre at GPAC in Little Malop St, Geelong to see another batch of performing arts students live forever. | A few years ago, committee toyed with the idea of displaying a 'sky full of STAG stars' to remember members who have passed away.
We were contacted by members who were providing names of members who were no longer with us and/or would have liked to have sponsored these stars, which would have a prominent place at The Bakehouse. It's finally going to happen. We are looking for suggestions of STAG members to include in the sky and also sponsors for the stars. Each silver star will cost $30 to sponsor and will have the name of the deceased STAG member engraved on the face of it. The stars will then be placed together on a board (the sky). We know that this idea was quite close to people's hearts and we are certain that there are a lot of potential star sponsors willing to participate.
