| 'Aussierock' tickets flew out the door on Monday morning, with the opening of sales for this year's revue!
The end-of-year-show fever was ever present with the queue for tickets beginning at 6.45am. Die hard ticket buyers, Wendy Russell and Heather Watts, complete with thermos and camping chair, took first place in the line.
The dedicated Riverlinks team were busy from the moment they set foot inside, with tickets going on sale from 8.30am. By 9.30am, both Saturday nights had sold out. This rapid pace continued throughout the morning.
Fortunately for you, oh seekers of rock, there are an extra 200 seats available in this shiny new venue. This means a greater opportunity for everyone to experience local Aussie talent at its best.
There are still good seats available for Thursday and Friday nights, so get in early to avoid missing out. Call Riverlinks now on (03) 5832 9511.

The Melbourne Youth Orchestra are coming to Shepparton on Saturday October 2 and Sunday October 3, for a special concert and workshops with Shepparton's own orchestra. Riverlinks currently need some kind families to billet the musicians on the Saturday night. Orchestra members are male and female and range in age across the typical "youth orchestra" spectrum.
The commitment would be to pick up your billet(s) from Eastbank on Saturday at about 4.30 pm, give them an evening meal, bring them back for the evening concert, then, afterwards, give them a bed and breakfast, and drop them back to Eastbank for the Sunday morning workshop.
If you are able to help Riverlinks with this, they would be most grateful (of course) and in addition to our gratitude, they will provide you with a free family ticket to the Saturday evening concert.
If this sounds like you, please call Erin at Eastbank, on 03 58329865 to offer your assistance. Riverlinks are happy to receive offers of one, two or three beds per billet. It’s up to what you think you can manage. We will take care of the details from there.

While it may seem like the only thing we've updated this page with over recent weeks is announcements about the latest Stagedoor, it turns out its that time again!
The September Stagedoor is now available for viewing online, and the paper version (with coveted Aussierock member's vouchers) should be hitting your mailboxes any day now.
You can download the September issue of Stagedoor here (876Kb PDF).

Boy, do we have the solution for you!
Hitting the stage in mere hours is STAG's 2004 play, 'Away', by Michael Gow. Opening Thursday night, this play is an wonderful story about families, love and loss, set on the sands of Queensland in the late 60's. Come along on a summer holdiay with us.
Don't be one of those people saying 'oh I heard that show was really good, I wish I had have seen it...' - book your tickets now by calling Riverlinks on 03 5832 9511.
And, as if that isn't entertaining enough, a ticket buying frenzy is destined for the Eastbank Centre this coming Monday morning, when tickets for the much anticipated rock revue 'Aussierock' go on sale.
Last year, people were queuing outside the venue hours before tickets went on sale to make sure they were guaranteed their seat. All shows were virtually sold out on the first day of sales.
Make sure you don't miss out this year! Tickets are on sale at 8:30am, and not a moment sooner. Not even the STAG committee can get in early! No bookings will be taken without payment, so make sure you've got your money ready!

... in the neighbourhood - who you gonna call? The keener surfers among you may have noticed a few broken bits and pieces around this site over the last couple of days. This is due to a server upgrade by McMedia, kind hosts of stagtheatre.com.
As with most new technology there's been a couple of glitches with the transfer from old to new, but we're doing our very best to ensure the disruption is minimal. Apologies for any difficulties that may arise over the coming days.

| Everyone should have well and truly received their August 'Stagedoor' by now. It was surrounded in delightfully yellow 'Away' ticket vouchers, and posted out a couple of weeks ago.
If you haven't received one, and you think you should have (you're pretty sure you're a paid up STAG member) please contact the Stagedoor department via the address on the contact page, and let us know. Possible reasons could be that you've moved house, or your membership has lapsed recently.
(The new Stagedoor is being finished as we speak and will be in your letterboxes, complete with shiny new 'Aussierock' ticket vouchers in time for the stampede at Riverlinks on Monday the 13th!)
