I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change is an hilarious romp through the often madcap world of relationships. From first date nerves and meeting the parents, to finally tying the knot and navigating the world of having time for sex post kids, to the wonders of dating at funerals in your eighties; I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change takes you through there whole gamut of relationship do’s, dont’s and beyond!
Subtitled ‘Everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws but were afraid to admit’, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change first opened off-Broadway in 1996 where it ran for more than 5000 performances. The desire for love is a fundamental urge, but perhaps as basic is the drive to remake the object of your affection. That’s the funny and poignant premise of Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts’ record breaking musical.
Audience advice: Production contains adult themes and some coarse language. Suitable for those aged 15+
