Interested performers aged 18 years or over are invited to attend an Information Night for STAG’s first show of 2019 – “The Bakehouse Bard: A Midsummer Night’s Mashup”. A veritable feast for the Shakespeare enthusiast in us all, “Bakehouse Bard” will serve up some of his most beloved monologues and duologues as audiences are taken on a roving journey through the grounds of the Bakehouse and the plays of the Bard, culminating in more performances that will be created inside our own little Black Box Globe.
Performers are encouraged to audition with gender neutrality in mind, so if there is a monologue/duologue that is written as a gender that is different to which you identify, please feel free to audition with it. The creative team will reserve the right to determine which monologues need to be performed in the gender they were written, but are open to many other possibilities too.
“Bakehouse Bard” will be directed by Gemma Marchant, assisted by Brandon Armstrong and Jayden Yosh and performed in early February.
Information Night: Thursday 8 November 2018
17 Wheeler St, Shepparton
